If you have little space in the freezer, and in winter you want delicious fruit – canning mixed fruit – better in a jar. They have a rich flavor, such fruits can be added to drinks, desserts or simply consumed, enjoying the taste of each piece.

Mixed Fruit Cocktail

This recipe can also be used with other types of fruits, such as apricots or pineapples, especially if you are aiming for a more exotic taste.

Upon careful examination of the recipe, you will see that the process starts with adding a certain amount of hot marinade to a jar, then the fruits are placed in, and hot liquid is added until the necessary level is reached.


  • Peaches: 1.5 kg
  • Pears: 1.5 kg
  • Green, seedless grapes (slightly underripe): 0.5 kg
  • Maraschino cherries (jarred): 300 g
  • Sugar: 3 cups
  • Water: 4 cups

The total volume: Approximately 3 liters


  1. Sort the grapes, wash them, and soak in a solution of ascorbic acid or lemon juice. Blanch the peaches in boiling water for 1-1.5 minutes to facilitate peeling, then cool in water and peel. Halve the peaches, remove the pits, and cut into 1/2 inch cubes; store in the solution along with the grapes. Peel the pears, halve them, remove the cores, cut into 1/2 inch cubes, and also store in the solution. Preparation:

  3. In liter jars, place the spices, prepared fruits, and berries, then pour over the hot marinade and seal with lids.
  4. Place the jars in a large pot with warm water, bring to a boil, and sterilize for 15 minutes.
  5. Tightly seal the jars and let them cool at room temperature. Store in a cool, dark place.

  4. Boil the jam for 15-20 minutes after it begins to boil, until the fruits become translucent. Place the ready jam into sterilized jars and seal tightly with lids.
